Easter Part 2 - Easter Day

On Easter morning, the four of us went to Kevin's  home church, Prairie Lakes, with his parents and sister.  The twins were amazing at church!  Kevin and I have said many times to each other how much we think Matthew loves music.  Watching him at church reconfirmed that for us.  He loved the music listening so contently to the congregation singing and band playing.  It was cute watching him try to look in between the people in front of us so he could see the speaker on stage up front.  Not far into the service, both kids started getting sleepy.  Time for their morning naps.  Matthew and Katherine spent the rest of the time napping on Grandma and Grandpa Willms, which they loved...all four of them. :)
After church, we headed back to my parent's house for Easter lunch.  We took some pictures outside and let the kids play with cousin Allie's bubbles that she got in her Easter basket.

The one and only picture of them together on Easter.  Don't you love Matthew's expression?!

Our daughter was the one not wanting to cooperate.  Allie was doing great at posing for the camera!

Love Kate's big smile in this picture!

Kate received a singing purse for Easter from Aunt Kelly and Uncle Brian

We got Allie princess bubble bath for her Easter basket.  She was excited for her princesses that she asked me to take her picture with the soap. ;)

Katers reading a book - she loves, loves books!

Love this picture of Daddy and Kate

Grandpa Dufel and Kate - These two are buddies.  When I stayed back in Iowa for another week Kate just wanted to be held by Grandpa.  She would get so excited to see him get home from work and immediately reach out for him to hold her.

After lunch it was EASTER EGG HUNT TIME!  It is a tradition in my family for everyone to find a special egg with their name on it (adults included), and also find a "golden egg" and "silver egg" hidden for just us adult kids with some cash.  I think all of us siblings love to have some eggs to hunt for, too!

Great job putting it in your bucket, Kater!

Love my niece!

Hmmm...what's this?

Look who found the golden egg this year!  It's the first win for the Willms!

We had such a wonderful second Easter with the twins.  We definitely loved being able to do the Easter egg hunts with the kiddos this year!  Can't wait for next year's hunt!
